An ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11140-1:2005 Class 4 Chemical Indicator for use in determining whether the sterilization process conditions were met inside each pack. Can be used in all 250-275°F / 121°C-135°C sterilization cycles.
Chemical indicators are used for pack control which validates that the sterilant has penetrated to the point of placement in the pack and confirms that sufficient exposure conditions have been met. 3M Comply 1250 Steam Chemical Indicator Strips. A multi-parameter chemical indicator printed with a long strip of indicator ink for a wide area of monitoring in the pack. The chemical indicator goes from a gradual, distinct, off-white to dark brown/black colour change and has a colour reference standard. The strip can be separated easily at the perforation mark to convert to a short strip. This chemical indicator monitors all 121°C / 250°F and 134°C / 272°F gravity and vacuum-assisted steam sterilization cycles.
